There once were 2 best friends, a bat named Batty and a spider named Spidy.

In order to be best friends, Batty had to promise Spidy she wouldn't eat him, but Batty broke her promise and ate Spidy. Now that we got that out of the way I will tell you what happened that made Batty eat Spidy.

Batty woke up at night, because as you know, bats are nocturnal. She woke up Spidy even though he was being a pain about it. " What are you waking me up for!!!! It's night!!!!" Spidy yelled.

" Well, Mr. Boring,I woke you up so we can have some fun!" Batty stated. Even though Spidy was being a pain at the moment, he fixed his mood for Batty. Spidy then told her, "Yes Batty. I know that. You wake me up every night to have fun." Although Spidy was Batty's best friend she was still upset to be woken up at night. When Spidy was fully awake, they went into the woods to explore, which is not fun for Spidy, but is for Batty.

" O.K. we are in the woods. Now what?" Spidy asked." I don't know, I haven't thought this far." Batty replied. After that, they fought a lot about not knowing what to do, being hungry, and being thirsty. Then it happened........... 

"I am so hungry I could eat spider." Batty said with a mischievous look in her eyes. Wide eyed and in disbelief, Spidy replied," You wouldn't dare! You promised to never eat me! That's the whole entire reason why we are  friends!" Gulp! In one swoosh Spidy was gone and in  Batty's stomach." What a satisfying meal." Batty said.

New Years Eve

New Years Eve

When are they coming! It was New Years Eve and my family was having a party. I’ve been waiting for my cousins to come. I was so excited, we were going to boston on the subway. The people in my family that were going was my sister Jade, my brother Dale, my cousins Joslyn,Jenna,Jessie,Nicole, my dad, my Auntie Sherri, my my uncle Steve, and me. But before we went I had to get ready to go. I skipped steps as I raced up the stairs into my room with anxiousness built up inside me.

But as I raced up the stairs my mom said make sure you dress really warm it freezing out side. So thats what I did. First I put on my dri-fit sweat pants over my leggings and put my ugg boots on. I felt the soft wool on the inside of my boots run threw my fingers as I slipped them on. I leaped up on my feet and galloped down the stairs into my mom and dads room on the second floor. She handed me a long-jon shirt so I will be nice and warm. Next I brushed my hair out and galloped down another set of stairs to the first floor to get gloves, a hat, a scarf, and my black puffy winter coat. I gazed out the window with hope that i’d see my cousins silver mini van. They were here. “They're here” I yelled up to my brother and sister,my dad was already down stairs.

Were driving in our cousins car to the subway. When I opened the door and first stepped foot on the porch I shivered. It’s freezing outside. I could see my breath, It looked like a little cloud. I quickly dashed to the car and said hi to my cousins. The warm heat blowing on my cold face. But after a while with the heat blasting and several layers of warm clothes on it felt like I was standing next to a blazing fire. We were about 20 minutes away from the subway and I had a headache I started to take of my gloves,hat,scarf, and jacket. I felt so much better after I did. It took about 45 minutes but we finally arrived at the subway.

I whipped my winter clothes back on and leaped out of the car with joy. I sighed with relief, the cold freezing air never felt so good. I saw little bright white flurries falling from the star-less sky. After a couple of minutes everyone was ready to go. when I opened the door I heard people talking and the trains stopping with a screech. The parents made sure everyone was there because there were seven of us kids. We started walking towards the machine that gives you a card to let you get pass the gates. Pretty soon we were standing waiting for the train to take us to the part of Boston were going to.

The trained stopped in front of us so we leaped in the train struggling to get seats so we didn't have to hold on to the nasty poles. The train wibbled  and wobbled till it came to a complete stop. We gathered together as we got out of the train. We raced up the stairs, and out of the train station. We saw sky scraping building the second we opened the doors. Were going to see fire-works they start at about 10:00 pm and we have to be home before 12:00 pm. Its 9:00 pm right now. As we were walking along the concrete path we spotted ice skaters and we stopped to watch. I gazed at the blades on they're skates glide across the smooth ice. They did amazing tricks.

Right next to the ice skaters were the ice sculptures. My favorite one was the octopus. It was about time to see the fire-works. We spotted a good spot to watch them. We all felt num. The cold,freezing air was blowing on our red rosy cheeks. “wow” Jenna said, They're was a bright blue fire-work that lit up the sky. Then many more after that one. Pretty soon it was 11:00 pm, the fire-works were over, and it was time to hop back on the train and go home. We headed back  to the subway on the same path we came from. They're were not that many people on the train this time. After a while we were in the car on the way back to my house.

they're was about half an hour left till 2014. When we arrived at my house we took off all of our winter clothes and got ginger ale. Time flies by so fast that we were already counting down 5,4,3,2,1 HAPPY NEW YEAR. As the new year began I knew it was going to be a good one. and it was.

My Alaskan Adventure!

      MY ALASKAN ADVENTURE!

"Here's your drink."  Oh. Hi there! I am just on my way to Alaska. Did you know that Alaska has a population of 626,425 people?  Well, my tourists gave me a brochure about Alaska. The brochure said that Alaska has really harsh winters.  It also told me that the origin of the name Alaska is from the Aleut Indian word “ alaxsxaq “ or “ agunalaksh “.   That means mainland or shore. it told me about how people needed to hunt to survive. (That I already knew.). It says: “Animals are coated with nice long fur to survive the frigid weathers of Alaska.” It said that Alaska has EPIC hills to sled on. Honestly, I think they do. But, it would be a foolhardy idea of someone to do that. They have beautiful mountains. I guess all this stuff was supposed to fascinate me. When I got off the plane, I walked ALL THE WAY to a stranded place in the middle of nowhere. In the distance, I saw a solitary  mini house. By mini house, meant mini house. It was so small, I bet only one person lived in it. On the bright side, it was substantial.  When I got there, no one was there. So I put all my stuff in it. I put ALL my clothes on. It was FREEZING. Since it was still light out, I decided to go for a walk. As I was walking, I saw a group of people all huddled  up. Then it hit me: Those weren't any people out of the ordinary, THEY WERE FROM MY FAVORITE SHOW! Alaska: The Last Frontier. I was so happy, I went up to them and asked them for their autograph. They didn't know what I meant at first. Then they realized. I met Charlotte, Otto, Eve, and Atz Lee. I was so happy. After that I went back to my little shack. The next day, I went back to the Kilcher family. They taught me how to hunt and preserve food. When I told them I had to go back to Massachusetts, they seemed sad. I told them I would be back in a month or so. That made them feel a lot better. So overall, my trip was AMAZING. Alaska is awesome. I had a spectacular time. You should go one day!

Celebration with the Minions!

Here in Gru’s lab, the minions will be having a birthday party for Gru. Chef Kevin has a special dessert prepared for all the guests.  Gru walks in and shouts, “Hello everybody! Settle down, settle down,” he says, “Let the party begin! The first party game is “Pin the Tail on the Fluffy Unicorn”.  The first blindfolded minion slowly walks up to the Fluffy Unicorn.  He places the tail on…the unicorn’s leg!  All the minions fell into a fit of laughter.  Even the blindfolded minion laughed!  No minions succeeded in this task.  They were probably thinking Let’s try something else.

Now it’s time for the birthday banquet as Gru yells, “Minions assemble!”  A huge beautiful table is in the middle of the room, piled high with edibles.  A roast beef is sitting in the middle, ready to be gobbled up.  There’s a whole harvest of vegetables (not for me).  Everyone eats as much as they can.  Then, Chef Kevin arrives with his best banana meringue.( For those of you who don’t know what a meringue is, look in the dictionary.)  Chef Kevin looks like he wants attention.  He’s pulling something out of a briefcase.  A flamethrower!  You’re supposed to use a torch!  Uh­ oh.  The power dial is set  to HIGH!

I’m not going to tell you what happened, but  I will tell  you that some minions had flaming backsides, and the meringue was well done.  Very, very well done.  After the flamethrower incident, it seemed frivolous that none of the minions had gifted Gru with fire insurance for his birthday.

Ariel The True Story

So this story is about a young mermaid named Ariel. But this is not exactly her story, its mine. If you hadn't already figured it out, my name is Ursula. I am the beauty of the sea, the pearl of the ocean and my job is to help the poor, souls of this unfortunate sea. Some people think I'm only in it to get a reward. I mean sure it's nice to get something in return, but my real prize is King Trident. "Do you hear that my sweethearts?" I asked my sweet little electric eels as I pulled the seaweed cloth off the magic ball. Just as I thought, there was Ariel getting scolded by her father again for skipping the concert. Again. Perfect! I thought. Just what I need to add the king to my collection! Oh look here she comes now! "Oh hello there child! What brings you to my castle of greatness."(castle of greatness might be a little much but whatever ) "well I need your help."she said sounding a little unsure, but she still said it! "What do you need child" I said smirking a little too much. "Well I met a prince. A human prince. I kind of fell in love and I want human legs. Can you help me?" "Oh really? Well I can help but I need something in return." "What do you want?" She asked. "Well I would like to make a deal. If he kisses you before sundown on the third day you can keep your legs, marry him and live happily ever after, but if he doesn't, you belong to me. One more thing, I get your voice." So maybe taking her voice was a little much, but it is so pretty I couldn't resist! "Ok fine." She said jerking me out of my thoughts. "Really? I mean, good choice. Now sing child SING!" "Ladada, ladadada," "keep going!" I shouted "Ladada, ladededa" "Good. Now for the legs. This won't hurt at all." Just then an electric blast filled the room! I didn't mean for it to be that bright but it worked! As she floated to the cave floor I could see two long legs stretch from her body. "Thank you!" She mouthed as a crab and a fish carried her off. Had they been there the whole time? "I wonder where she is going now?" I asked, swimming over to the magic ball. "Ahhh. So she goes straight to her little prince? Interesting. "STOP HER! I shouted a little too loud." Then off swam my precious little angel eels. I watched as they silently followed the girl to the shore and met up with a crazy bird who pretended to not notice her new feet. The crabs eyes lit up as a prince walked over to the mute girl in rags and brought her to the palace to get dry. Suddenly I got an idea! I would transform myself into a beautiful women and use Ariel's beautiful voice to make the prince love me. Then Ariel will be mine and I can use her to get to the king. Perfect! Now, ZAP! I am human and I look almost as good as I did before. I swam to the serface and snuck into the castle. There was a ball and a few people wanted to dance so I zapped them. I really hate to dance. I headed to a dressing room and dressed in the best dress I could find. I went to the prince's room, stood outside the door, and started to sing. Yes! He took the bait! He followed close behind me until he caught to me. "Your voice is amazing!" He said, wide- eyed in nonbelief. "Thank you!" I said. feeling a little giddy at the whole thing. "I know we just met, but will you marry me?" He asked. I couldn't believe it! He wanted to marry me already! "Yes! Deffinetly yes!"  I exclaimed excitedly! "How does next week sound?" He asked. "Let's do it tomorrow instead." I encouraged. "Fine with me." He said, and walked away. Good. Now I just need to be patient and wait. Well, I'm exhausted so I'm going to bed! The next day I woke with FOURTEEN maids standing in my bedroom to get me ready. It's a nice thought but FOURTEEN! Really? "Um your highness?" Said one maid shyly. "It's time to go." The rest was a mixture of getting lost then finding our way and yelling when we got lost again. Finally we got to the wedding just in time. The priest was announcing me. And, ARIEL? Why was she here? It doesn't matter, the sun is setting and her legs are now a tail! Finally I can become my normal self. The transformation might have involved more screaming than necessary but the prince knows the truth now! "Bow down to me! The all mighty queen!" Then I was thrown off the boat and into the water. Some other embarrassing things happened that I would rather not go into much detail about, and the king ended up killing me. I just wanted someone to know the truth. Thank you!

Sleeping Beauty: The True Story

      Once upon a time, a beautiful baby girl was born. Now, this is not the girl you are thinking of. This was someone whose name would make people shiver for generations. Her name was Evna.  Everyone in the village of Snarlsdag loved her. When she got older, she got emerald green eyes and and hair as black as night. All the boys were always following her around wherever she went. One day, Evna was wandering in the village, when a ugly woman with a stump for a leg, bumped into her. "Watch what you're doing, you old hag", the lady said."I'm an old hag?!", Evna replied,"right". "Follow me", the old lady said. Evna was only eight when the old lady beckoned for her, so she was not the smartest child. "Okey", Evna said, and she followed the witch into the woods (Shoot, I gave it away).

     As she followed the witch into the woods, she looked at the lady. She looks like she's eighty four, Evna thought. As she walked into the Breath Killing Bog, she felt a slight tremor in the air. "I curse your entire no good, dirty rotten family forever", the witch said. "May you train in the dark arts and die a villain". Then she mumbled a few words, and a pair of horns appeared on her head." No!!" Evna yelled. Then the witch disappeared..

     When Evna returned to her house, her parents screamed."What happened to you?!"  they yelled. She told her parents what happened. "I'm going to give that hag a good beatin'", her father said. "You know dear, you could always go to Marvelous Maggie, the witch who nurses weary travelers back to health." Being an obedient child, Evna obeyed her mother and started her journey to find Marvelous Maggie.

     As Evna walked through the Cursed Forest, the home of Marvelous Maggie, she saw an owl. "Hello, owl," Evna said. "Beware, beware!" the owl cried. Then it flew away. Evna was so scared by now that she ran straight through the forest until she came to a small, wooden cottage. When she knocked on the door, no one answered. “That’’s strange”, Evna said. Then, the door opened. A small, old women appeared in the doorway, literally. “What do you want?” the lady said, “I specialize in potion making, sorcery, and resurrections”. “ Can you get these horns off my head?” Evna said. “No”, Maggie said, and she shut the door in Evna’s face. Maggie opened the door. “Okey, i’ll help you”...

As Maggie hovered over her cauldron, she chanted a few phrases that Evna could not hear. Maggie pulled out a beaker and scooped up some oozy, purple liquid. She poured the liquid over Evna’s horns. They disappeared in an instant. “Thank you!” Evna said. “You’re welcome,” Maggie said, “but there are side effects, which include growing the horns back and potentially becoming the most powerful villain in the world”. “You could have told me that before you poured the potion on me!” Evna said, “Is there a way to not become a dastardly villain?”. “Yes, there is a way, although it might ruin your life forever”, Maggie said. “Tell me,” Evna said. Maggie said, " You have to be pure of heart, and show compassion and understanding to everyone". "Thank you, Maggie," Evna said. When she walked out of the cottage, she thought, the whole world may come to an end if I am not kind.

Once upon a time, a beautiful baby girl was born. She soon became the princess of Agrabah. The king named her Jasmine. Ahh, beautiful Jasmine was now the princess and as a princess she has a lot of responsibilities.Yes, she had to find a real prince to marry or she will have to have her father chose for her. Now this won’t be as bad as I thought. If Jasmine does not choose,then I will be extra nice to the king,he will choose me and THEN I will BE THE MOST POWERFUL PERSON IN THE WORLD!! Too much...? Yep… Oh well. Iago, I have a job for you. Get the lamp from “Prince Ali”. He is not fooling me. After you get the lamp, we shall “Get rid of him”. I WILL become the Sultan of Agrabah and make the old king my personal servant! Now! Get that boy’s lamp, Iago! Jasmine will have no choice. She will have to bow to ME! THE (kinda) ALL POWERFUL JAFAR!!! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!! *Cough Cough* Fly ,Iago, FLY! I can not do it myself because I...um have to prepare for something.*Click Clack Click Clack* Oh, Hello, king! Is there anything I can do for you? "Not now..." Well I hope I can be of assistance soon as you need me! ”Thank you Jafar!
