The Job :)

Hmm? Where should I work? Hi, Im Judy. I’m looking for a job. I just graduated high school and my parents said I need to get a job. I’m so annoyed. Let’s see.... Burger Palace? No. Toast Place? No. Ice Cream Loverz? Yes! When I walked in the lady at the counter greeted me and said. “ Welcome to Ice Cream Loverz!” “Thanks! I’m looking for a job are you hiring?” I said. “Of course! We’ve been looking to employ people for awhile now.” The women named Alyssa replied. “Well thanks. When do I start?” I said. “ In thirty seconds. Here is your stuff, Your first job is cash register.” Alyssa said. “Ok.” I replied. I put on my apron and my visor. The color of them are blue and purple. Those are my two favorite colors. When I went to the cash register I looked around the place. The walls were blue and purple and the tables were a brilliant blue. Plus the best part is it is located in Burlington so it is really close to home! When my first customers came in they were a bunch of boisterous teenagers. They walked up to the counter and ordered sixteen chocolate ice creams. I yelled the order to my work companion Tori. She has dark brown hair and blue eyes and has worked here for a decade. She started to make them while the group of teenage boys paid. When their order was up they took their ice creams and left. After Tori and I took a few more orders it was time for our break so we went to go eat lunch in the break room which only employees have access to. When we sat down we told each other about ourselves and just talked about why we came to work here. In addition to that we talked about how we could not tolerate those teenage boys! After our break was over we went back to work. Before any customers came in our boss came out and said “ You guys are doing great! Keep the good work up.” When our boss left a mom and her daughter came in. The little girl was wearing a pink dress with yellow flowers and flip flops. The little girl asked for strawberry ice cream with whipped cream and gummy bears. I said ok then gave the order to Tori. When she made it she handed it to me and I handed it to the girl. She smiled and then left with her mom. After they left our boss told us we could go home Tori and I packed up our stuff and left. Tori gave me a ride home because I don’t have car yet. When I got home I said thanks to Tori and walked inside. When I walked in I told my parents that I got a job and that I’m really happy with it!  They said that is it great that I got a job so their going to buy me a car! I cant wait!
